The internet is very familar with Andy Gilmore. His recent exploration of patterns and colour studies has been getting alot of coverage on the design blogs. Whilst those are beautiful, the Andy Gilmore I was introduced to a few years ago created haunting portraits. He uses what i believe to be some form of colour pencils, to create dark renderings which are part medical diagram, often peering into multiple dimensions of his subjects.
